The RnB and disco queens will headline Temptation, London&#8217;s largest outdoor, all-day party, as part of the open-air South Facing concert series. It will be held at the iconic Crystal Palace Bowl in South London, UK, on August 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Energizing the arena with renditions of their classic dance floor singles,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sistersledge.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sister Sledge<\/a>\u00a0is slated to make an appearance at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/southfacingfestival.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">South Facing Festival<\/a>\u00a0for an all-day party full of funk, soul, RnB, and disco! The\u00a0&#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=uyGY2NfYpeE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">We Are Family<\/a>&#8216;\u00a0hitmakers&#8217; now consist of family members Debbie Sledge, Camille Sledge, Tanya Ti-et, Thaddeus Sledge, and David Sledge. At the 22nd Annual GRAMMY Awards, the group was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.grammy.com\/artists\/sister-sledge\/8057\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nominated<\/a>\u00a0under the &#8216;Best RnB Vocal Performance By A Duo, Group Or Chorus&#8217; category for the chart-topping single &#8216;We Are Family.&#8217; They released &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ZTjxxeBYAL4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Free<\/a>,&#8217; their first single as a collective in nearly two decades, in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also en route to the Crystal Palace Bowl are deep house, soulful house, nu disco crew Horse Meat Disco, English DJ and producer Greg Wilson, and renowned multi-genre DJ Norman Jay MBE, unloading oodles of disco and funk. London-based House Gospel Choir is also penciled in to perform, with many more acts yet to be announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">July and August 2023 will see the hallowed multi-genre South Facing concert series rope in performances from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/southfacingfestival.com\/event\/noel-gallaghers-high-flying-birds\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Noel Gallagher\u2019s High Flying Birds<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/southfacingfestival.com\/event\/raver-tots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Raver Tots<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/southfacingfestival.com\/event\/primal-scream-jamc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Primal Scream<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/southfacingfestival.com\/event\/craig-david\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Crag David<\/a>, to name a few.
