Lens&#8217; breakthrough release, &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/track\/7x8QBuOGgaHzRqXuFmIE2a?autoplay=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Love The Way<\/a>,&#8217; featuring Lally, came as recently as 2022. From playing shows with only four people in attendance, her ascent can be attributed to her role as the voice of Hospital Records&#8217; Rinse FM show in 2019 and her collaborations with some of the most exciting names in the industry, including Pola &amp; Bryson (&#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/track\/2398MESeCtzwLjjjJGIFl3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Way Up<\/a>&#8216;), Unglued (&#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/album\/1WlUE6Kq9JTU4bAlYq87YA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Crunchy Nutter<\/a>&#8216;), Whiney (&#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/track\/2KTvZCyt2EeFS6r9VPCsWi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">If You Like It Like That<\/a>&#8216;), LZee (&#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/track\/1XNQJZ8CfaTNIowJsaotvn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">After Party<\/a>&#8216;), etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lens zips to LOCUS Bali as part of a monumental <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C64KzOniriK\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">summer tour<\/a> that sees her hit stages at In It Together (Wales), Daydance (Switzerland), Glastonbury (UK), Tomorrowland (Belgium), and Nibirii Festival (Germany), along with multiple other shows lined up in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I just get this feeling in my belly when I hear it. Hailing from Toulouse, Monty has been featured at Let It Roll, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YUHJLPPJGGA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Outlook Festival<\/a>, Shambhala Festival, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C15NYM8P14e\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recently<\/a>, The Untz Festival in California. Monty is represented by Alix Perez&#8217;s 1985 music label, and he also has releases on Critical Music, Vandal Records, Invisible, and Flexout Audio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Monty has cited Ivy Lab (also on the LOCUS card) as one of his influences in drum &amp; bass in an <a href=\"https:\/\/breakbeat.co.uk\/interview\/monty-man-on-a-mission\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">exchange <\/a>with Drum and Bass Arena while also speaking about his mind at work. He stated, &#8220;I draw inspiration from music I like too. Stuff like reggae, hip-hop, soul, rock and blues, and sometimes from films too. A regular name at the hallowed Drum and Bass Arena Awards, he has swept up multiple nominations throughout his career and <a href=\"https:\/\/awards.breakbeat.co.uk\/2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">bestowed<\/a> titles of Best Newcomer DJ and Best Newcomer Producer in 2013, while his fourth album &#8216;Neon Dust&#8217; won the Best Album <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lovethatbass.com\/news\/the-drum-bass-awards-2022-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">category<\/a> in 2022 at the Drum and Bass Awards UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Etherwood arrives in Bali on the back of his newest liquid DnB drop &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/track\/72ujWcfRtDTcBixUIPT4Zd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lucid<\/a>,&#8217; glazed with wistful keys and vocal segments. He has also recently announced the launch of his record label, Stillness Music, in April 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an <a href=\"https:\/\/ukf.com\/read\/etherwood-announces-new-label-stillness-music\/\" class=\"ek-link\">interview <\/a>with UKF about his new venture, Etherwood shared, &#8220;When I started producing, I never thought I\u2019d start my own label, but the idea has been slowly forming over the past few years. The now 23-year-old has made her way into the forefront of the electronic music scene after sharpening her skills during the lockdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Steeped with a vision to one day support The Prodigy, the quickly rising artist was featured on DJ Mag&#8217;s Fresh Kicks 200 in July 2023, where she <a href=\"https:\/\/djmag.com\/features\/fresh-kicks-200-sabrina-solemani-interview-rave\" class=\"ek-link\">voiced<\/a>, &#8220;If someone asked me, \u2018What music are you making?\u2019 I could not give you one genre. A festival regular and DnB nights specialist, Smokey&#8217;s visit to LOCUS will be her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C7EDcVMofZE\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">first <\/a>at an international drum &amp; bass festival, coming on the heels of last year&#8217;s highly successful <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CppLvrboyMd\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">multi-city tour<\/a> of Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In response to being announced on the phase two line-up announcement, the music producer and faculty member at AudioQube shared a heartfelt message to her fans and well-wishers via social media. To us, this project feels like the musical equivalent of rushing out onto the beach to dive headfirst into the rolling waves, instinctively surrendering to the dance between your body and the ocean. Steadily climbing the ranks and perfecting her skills, on her decorated music ledger, you&#8217;ll find collaborations with acts such as OW3S, Data 3, QZB, Visages, DJ Marky, Sam Binga, and Primitive Instinct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Charli&#8217;s debut album &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/album\/12Vki3P91ze8Gba8EOGqFQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Art of Change<\/a>&#8216; (2023), released via Flexout Audio, is a testament to her talents since debuting with &#8216;More&#8217; in 2012.
