Some films have recruited electronic music artists and producers to work on the score or contribute to a soundtrack; here are some you may not have known of &#8211; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Chemical Brothers <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Escape 700\" width=\"702\" height=\"527\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yj2P5OQ__r4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">English electronic music duo The Chemical Brothers, made up of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, were tapped to work on the 2011 film \u2018Hanna,\u2019 starring Saoirse Ronan, Cate Blanchett, Tom Hollander, and more. \u2018What we found was really interesting with a movie is how you can have a very tense action scene, and then the challenge is making it go to a very beautiful moment,\u2019 Rowlands said to the Los Angeles Times of composing the original score and soundtrack of a film. \u2018We liked being able to create these moods that went along with everything else you were seeing in the film.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dom Dolla, Ti\u00ebsto, Peggy Gou, and PAWSA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The highly anticipated Formula 1-themed film \u2018F1,\u2019 starring Brad Pitt and \u2018Snowfall\u2019 star Damson Idris, sees some of the major names in music on its soundtrack. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, the film follows a former F1 driver who teams up with a rookie after some persuasion and convincing from the owner of a struggling Formula 1 team. Grammy Award winner Kevin Weaver, the Atlantic Records West Coast President who has worked on \u2018The Greatest Showman,&#8217; \u2018Suicide Squad,\u2019 and Greta Gerwig\u2019s \u2018Barbie,\u2019 among others, helmed \u2018F1 The Album.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"F1\u00ae The Movie | Main Trailer\" width=\"702\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8yh9BPUBbbQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dom Dolla delivers the track \u2018No Room For A Saint\u2019 featuring Tennessee-born Nathan Nicholson, while Ti\u00ebsto joins forces with rapper Sexyy Red on \u2018OMG!,\u2019 South Korean dance music icon Peggy Gou brings the heat with \u2018D.A.N.C.E,&#8217; with London-based tech-house producer PAWSA offering \u2018Double C\u2019 to give you the thrilling Formula 1 vibe. Don Toliver, Ed Sheeran, ROS\u00c9, and RAYE are some other popular artists on the soundtrack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Daft Punk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another film directed by Joseph Kosinski that saw an electronic music heavyweight compose the entire film score is &#8216;Tron: Legacy.&#8217; The French electronic music maestro Daft Punk were approached by Konsinski in 2007 and, due to their admiration for \u2018Tron\u2019 technology, he convinced them to hop on the project. However, the process wasn\u2019t simple. Thirty years later, this new movie would be a dark and not-innocent look at technology. It was in common with how we feel about technology, which is this love-hate relationship with it. It can be wonderful and terrifying.&#8221; The soundtrack blends electronic music with orchestra and has become a score to remember!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Skrillex<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grammy-award-winning dance music titan Skrillex joined forces with Cliff Martinez for the 2013 film \u2018Spring Breakers.&#8217; The soundtrack included his notable track \u2018Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites\u2019 along with tracks from Cliff Martinez, himself, and other artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Skrillex &amp; Rick Ross - Purple Lamborghini [Official Video]\" width=\"702\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZkqyIoYAXV8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other films the Los Angeles-born producer has contributed are \u2018Suicide Squad\u2019 and the animated film &#8216;Wreck-It Ralph.&#8217; \u2018Purple Lamborghini\u2019 is the collaborative track Skrillex offered for \u2018Suicide Squad\u2019 with hip-hop star Rick Ross. He also served as one of the producers for \u2018Wreck-It Ralph,\u2019 and his song \u2018Bug Hunt\u2019 featured on the soundtrack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Marshmello<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Known for his hits like &#8216;Alone,&#8217; &#8216;Happier,&#8217; &#8216;Silence,&#8217; &#8216;Friends&#8217; and &#8216;Wolves,&#8217; Marshmello has also ventured into making tracks for films.
