More than just a release to celebrate a century of releases, the package encapsulates the ethos that has defined Sapiens since its inception, which is a space where emotional storytelling, technological curiosity, and cross-disciplinary collaboration intersect.

For Agoria, reaching the 100th release demanded something far more significant than a mere solo statement. Instead, it has become a sprawling celebration of the musical connections and creative synergies that define the Sapiens ecosystem. The ‘We Were Little’ EP ensures that the release feels like a collective triumph rather than a singular achievement.

<iframe loading="lazy" title="Agoria, Rami Khalife ft. Lush arrangements of strings and delicate piano motifs form the backbone of the tune, and all of this happens as a subtle yet immersive electronic undercurrent ties the whole experience together. The track’s sonic identity feels like an intentional reflection of Sapiens’ guiding philosophy to bridge past, present, and future. There’s also a clear nod to Agoria’s long-standing admiration for the legacy of Detroit techno, with its soulful depth and humanistic approach to electronic music echoing throughout the release.

Extending the life of the release, which comes with a forthcoming remix package scheduled for June, reinterprets the different corners of the electronic spectrum. Roxymore delivers a version that brings in the experimental flair, while Floyd Lavine leans into hypnotic percussion and deeper rhythmic fluidity. On the other end, Head High strips the track back to its essentials, reimagining it through a more minimal and club-ready lens. Put together, these remixes accentuate the track’s versatility and its ability to exist across multiple listening contexts.

Agoria’s journey has consistently been about pushing the boundaries of how electronic music can be created and experienced, and with ‘We Were Little,’ the French phenomenon and Sapiens Recordings celebrate a journey that is reflective of its rooted connection while always reaching toward what’s next.

For more dance music releases and reviews, follow TFword on Instagram | Facebook | X

You May Also Like:

Sampling Asha Bhosle: The Global Reach of a Timeless Voice

Shimza and Indira Paganotto Remix Shakira and Beéle’s ‘ALGO TÚ’

Terminal V Music Festival Might Be Heading to Australia

Both originals are further elevated by a remix package that draws from the extended Sapiens ecosystem.
