Now, they are bringing their unique sound to <strong>India<\/strong> later this year. The duo, which founded the Dar Disku record label and collective in 2018, will be taking over stages in India on <strong>October 9<\/strong>, <strong>October 10<\/strong>, and <strong>October 11<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIf you were to ask me a few years ago, what is Dar Disku. I might\u2019ve said something along the lines of, \u2018we\u2019re trying to rediscover gems from the Middle East\u2019 or whatever, but the world has changed since then,\u201d Dar Disku <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dancepolicy.com\/stream\/dardisku\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> in an interview with Dance Policy earlier this year. \u201cNow, slowly, [we are]moving towards a new tone for the stuff that we don\u2019t think exists.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Live from Castle Park | Dar Disku\" width=\"702\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Jw9wnerpIeo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dar Disku took charge of Number 90 London in February, Paris\u2019 Djoon in March and Bristol in May. The duo are also on the bill for the Multi Multi Festival taking place next month. \u201cTheir sets move through cultures, rhythms and memories \u2014 creating moments that feel euphoric, warm and unexpected,\u201d wrote AIR HAUS while announcing the pair&#8217;s upcoming arrival in India as Dar Disku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mazen AlMaskati and Vish Matre have taken their genre-bending, culturally rooted sound from Bahrain to the Netherlands, Paris, Istanbul, Norway, London, Morocco, Croatia, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dardisku.com\/live\">more<\/a>, and have performed alongside some of the finest talents like British musician Nabihah Iqbal, Berlin-based DJ\/producer Hunee, Palms Trax, and Four Tet. Dar Disku is now getting ready to lay down their unforgettable tunes in India as part of their <strong>three-stop tour<\/strong>. The venues and cities of their shows are yet to be announced.
