Over thirty acclaimed breweries from across the South Island are set to descend at 87 Ilam Rd, Christchurch, for the South Island Beer Festival 2024. Flowing at this showcase from noon onwards will be ciders, ales, lagers, pilsners, porters, and other freshest brews, including non-alcoholic beverages for teetotallers in attendance.

The Kiwi Society of Beer Advocates (SOBA) has consistently chosen SIBF to be the best beer event in Canterbury, year after year. Would-be goers are encouraged to bring their own picnic food, blankets, and picnic chairs. No outside beverages would be permitted in the venue. Water is readily accessible for drinking, and food vendors will be hawking delectable nibbles at the set-up.
