Sub180 has roped in Inja for a two-show tour in New Zealand later this month. The multi-talented star will bring his ‘This Is Inja – 360 Degree Stage Event’ to Milton Street Substation in Christchurch on September 28, 2024, from 9 PM onwards. Ikigai, Halvzi, Bad Birds, and Lassy are the supporting acts on the roster. Tickets for This Is Inja show in Christchurch are brought to you by The Ticket Fairy.
“SUB180 is proud to welcome back the one and only INJA. The Pavarotti of Drum and Bass touches back down in NZ. Last time we hosted INJA, tickets flew, and this time won’t be any different,” Sub180 announced on Instagram. “The “This Is Inja” showcase is one of the most dynamic live music experiences in drum and bass. Inja (UK) smashes it out behind the decks while making no concession for being one of the best MCs in the game, spitting his bars at the same time!”
The multi-talented Inja has gotten behind the decks at a number of shows, in addition to taking the Boomtown stage. He has been on a roll this year, featuring on tracks like ‘The Message,’ ‘Good Over Evil,’ ‘Run & Hide,’ ‘Enter The Rave,’ ‘Spread Love,’ and ‘steadyonme,’ among many others. He also dropped a four-track EP titled ‘Good Morning Sunshine’ with the award-winning DnB DJ/producer Serum and rolled out the single ‘I’ve Been Dreaming’ with Magenta, Contact Point, Tocsin, and Maurizzle.
For Inja’s forthcoming show at Milton Street Substation in Christchurch, Ikigai and multi-genre DJ Halvzi are due to play a b2b set. “@ikigai.nz AND MYSELF ARE ON SUPPORT FOR THE DON @injamusic. Drum & bass duo Bad Birds, comprising of DJ Little Bird and DJ Baddie, and Christchurch-based multi-genre DJ Lassy completes the roster for the night. “Super stoked to be supporting bad man @injamusic on his return to aotearoa next month!! 360 set up and a BIG support crew. this one’s gonna be large (shout) outs to @sub180nz for the call up,” shared Lassy.
