Rising star AJ Christou and Canadian dancefloor powerhouse A-Trak have teamed up for a deep, dreamy label debut on Jamie Jones’ Paradise Music, featuring Chicago house legend Robert Owens on vocals. This collaboration marks an impressive start to the year for the label and further cement the pair’s status as innovators in the global house music scene.
Following a stellar 2024, where AJ Christou made his highly-anticipated Space Miami debut at Jones’ Paradise event and hosted his own label showcase at Hi Ibiza, the talented producer is kicking off 2025 with renewed energy. Partnering with A-Trak, the New York-based luminary whose illustrious 25-year career includes Coachella performances, BBC Radio 1 Essential Mixes, and global anthems as part of Duck Sauce with Armand Van Helden, the duo delivers yet another stunning record.
Their latest offering, ‘Escape,’ is a follow-up to their successful 2024 collaboration ‘Sway’ on A-Trak’s iconic Fool’s Gold Records. Once again, the pair demonstrates their ability to craft genre-defining tracks that blend classic house elements with cutting-edge production. ‘Escape’ opens with a smooth, funky vibe, driven by seductive house rhythms, weighty drums, and the unmistakable allure of Robert Owens’ soulful vocals.
