CENOTIKA makes Amaite Retreat in Tulum, Quintana Roo, its abode on Saturday, May 17, 2025. This picturesque getaway has gained a stellar reputation as one of Mexico’s steadfast centers for retreats, weddings, ceremonies, and other occasions. The jungle pop-up gets buzzing with over ten hours of activities from noon until after sunset, loaded with a 90-minute mystical sound healing session, temazcal lodging, ice baths, yoga, GeoDomes stays, a cenote, music, and dance attuned to nature’s healing frequency. Revitalizing massages, Mayan clay and herbal baths, and, of course, a variety of food and beverage offerings are also stitched into the mix.
Talking about the soundscape, soothing vibrations are set to pour in, ranging from Afro-house, Latin-house, organic house, soul, disco, chillrave, downtempo, spiritual deeptech, etc., all forging a unique hypnotic atmosphere.
Multi-disciplinary music artist, DJ/producer, vocalist, and also the brains behind HyperSoul, OVEOUS, takes top billing for this day of wellness and connection in the sun, spiced with deep restorative sound. OVEOUS has billed this event as “my final gift to Tulum” on social media.
Yaku Means Water, a multifaceted artist inspired by his travels and South American roots, also features on the card. The DJ/producer is known to blend cross-cultural rhythms during his performances and is set to perform a hybrid DJ set.
The artist line-up is completed by Selva, who throws down an ancestral electronic vibe, and Off Silence, who constructs an Afro, disco, and soul house setting. Special guest performers are yet to be revealed.
