Forged in the high-voltage atmosphere of Milan’s VOLT Club, where Auggië is a longstanding resident, ‘Charrè’ distills the tension and vitality of the dancefloor into a record both visceral and introspective. Across the EP, Auggië weaves harmonious fluidity with jagged, metallic experimentation, reflecting the intimate yet powerful spirit that defines his performances at VOLT.
The title track, ‘Charrè,’ opens the journey with trippy vocal chops, unconventional rhythms, and an undercurrent of grit, evoking the cerebral energy of late-night clubbing. Mano Le Tough’s remix elevates the track in a cosmic, hypnotic direction, blending emotive minimalism with the original’s enigmatic pulse. EP closer ‘Come Sweet To Dance’ reveals a more playful side, deep and personal, reminiscent of confessions whispered on a smoke-filled dancefloor.
