Italian duo DJs From Mars and sonic chameleon David Guetta have revisited and revised the legendary British electronic outfit Audio Bullys’ masterpiece, ‘We Don’t Care.’
Initially fed to the masses in 2003, ‘We Don’t Care’ from Audio Bullys’ debut studio album, ‘Ego War,’ climbed to number fifteen on the UK charts and pulls inspiration from ‘Big Bad Wolf,’ off the ‘Teen Wolf’ movie soundtrack from 1985.
Forty years later, the single has received a fresh revamp, created by one of the hottest acts in the world, David Guetta, in tandem with producers Luca Ventrafridda and Massimiliano Garino aka DJs From Mars, in the form of the single, ‘Things I Haven’t Told You.’
This exciting partnership stemmed from David Guetta, who, after years of collaboration behind the scenes, invited DJs From Mars to reinterpret the track with a modern, festival-ready UK garage vibe. The result is a nearly four-minute booming crossover of UK garage, house, and electro-punk, soaring with infectious energy.
Guetta has also routinely supported their musical endeavors through the years, and they worked together on mashups and remixes, and even performed live together. In a press statement, the cardboard box headgear-sporting producers voiced, “Working with David on this project is a dream come true. After so many years of backstage collaborations, seeing our name alongside his on an official release fills us with pride.”
They added, “We poured all our energy into this track, and it’s been incredible to watch it come alive on the world’s biggest festival stages.”
