The popular football simulation will include cuts from a variety of artists all around the world, making for an assorted soundtrack with wide-ranging genres. ‘Victory Lap’ by Fred again.. (ft. Skepta & PlaqueBoyMax), KILIMANJARO’s ‘Better Days’ feat. AMAKA, ‘Kimpton’ from Barry Can’t Swim & O’Flynn, ‘Lippy’ by Joy Orbison, Overmono, and Skiifall, and English DnB outfit Rudimental’s ‘London’s Burning’ feat. Idris Elba & Peter Xan are some of the tunes from dance music artists that have made it to the EA Sports FC 26 Official Soundtrack.
The soundtrack also features PinkPantheress’ ‘Girl Like Me,’ ‘Cops & Robbers’ from Sammy Virji and Skepta, ‘Wild Inside’ by The Glitch Mob, Polo & Pan (ft. Metronomy)’s ‘Disco Nap,’ and Algerian-British drum & bass musician Bou’s ‘Mercy’ featuring DRS.
“Having ‘Girl Like Me’ on the FC 26 soundtrack is honestly a bit mad. I’ve always thought it’s sweet how football and music can bring people together without even trying. I just like making songs that make you feel something, so hopefully when they queue a tune of mine in the game, they catch a vibe and carry it with them. Maybe even help them bag a goal or two, who knows!” says PinkPantheress in a press statement, according to DJ Mag.
JENNIE’s hit single ‘like JENNIE,’ ‘Symmetry’ from Ed Sheeran, Los Angeles-based rock outfit HAIM’s ‘Gone,’ ‘ Stardust’ from Labrinth, and ‘upset & aggressive’ by Dominic Fike are among the songs you may have heard that will now be a part of the football simulation. The other tracks include ‘Back On You’ by ‘End of Beginning’ fame Djo, Alternative/indie singer-songwriter and producer Artemis’ ‘this ones gonna hurt me,’ Little Simz ft. Obongjayar & Moonchild Sanelly’s ‘Flood,’ ‘DEAD’ by Sudan Archives, Cry Cry Cry’ by King Princess, and ‘pond song’ by Wet Leg. Moise Kean is the first footballer to be featured on the EA SPORTS FC Soundtrack as KMB with his track ‘BOMBAY.’
