Timmy Trumpet Channels IPL Energy on New track, ‘Ole!’

Australian DJ, producer, and live instrumentalist Timmy Trumpet takes his fandom in India, particularly Indian cricket, into his latest stadium-ready banger, ‘Ole!’ out now via SINPHONY Records.

Since his 2018 debut performance in India, Timmy Trumpet has maintained a strong bond with his fans in the country, with his tracks ‘Freaks,’ ‘Oracle,’ ‘Punjabi,’ and ‘Narco.’ His most recent India run, the Sunburn Holi Weekend tour of 2025, proved especially fruitful. “I honestly had the best experience I’ve had the entire year in the week I spent in India, and this track is just a small way of sharing that experience with the rest of the world,” the artist shared via a press note.

During this visit, the DJ-trumpet virtuoso spent time with some of India’s most exciting names, including rapper Hanumankind and Royal Challengers Bengaluru team member Virat Kohli. He also co-created the club anthem ‘We Own The Night‘ with the duo Blasterjaxx and producer-composer Chandan Shetty.

Now, hot on the heels of claiming the number six spot on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs of 2025, Timmy Trumpet fires off ‘Ole!,’ a high-voltage rework of the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) signature trumpet-scorched sound. The track is originally plucked from the Spanish pasodoble, ‘En Er Mundo,’ and was famously later sampled by French producer John Revox, eventually becoming synonymous with the IPL since its season two.

Timmy Trumpet ladles in his signature explosive energy into the mix, and the beat never lets up, bursting with fierce momentum from the get-go. The pumping trumpet intro seamlessly transitions into an enthralling peak-time production with thumping basslines, ominous synths, and a marauding rhythm.

“When we were commissioned to produce an anthem for the Royal Challengers, I became immersed in IPL for the first time,” expressed Timmy via press note. “I’ve always been a cricket fan, but seeing how Indian crowds reacted to this fanfare was next level. I wanted to play it for the first time at RCB’s stadium show, and the crowd reacted in such an amazing way that I felt I had to do something more with it as an official release.”

‘Ole!’ is just the first brick to an upcoming vibrant musical mural of works from Timmy Trumpet. The artist went on to convey, “My collaboration with RCB was just the start of a beautiful relationship with India. To see them win the final was a magical experience. I can’t wait for my next tour there — we’re already working on some big plans to bring my sound to India in a big way. I’ve become a genuine fan of the league and the country, and I’m now actively looking for the next big Indian collaborator to work with. We already have some really exciting names on the table.”
