Dive Into Sound and Ceremony with SACBE in Mexico

Explore a mystical convergence of music, art, community, dance, and nature unfolding this February in San Angel, Mexico, guided by conscious collective SACBE! Their next mindful assemblage opens a dynamic one-day experience on February 5, at a yet-to-be-revealed venue. This immersive gathering introduces a new mythic chapter plucked from Mexica cosmology, honoring Itzpapálotl, the Obsidian Butterfly from Aztec mythology, standing for metamorphosis, truth, and courage. SACBE‘s upcoming showcase puts forward a haven of creativity and expression. Attendees will be immersed in mirrored spaces and activities designed to spark reflection, sensation, and joy, all while keeping the dancefloor moving.

On offer are multiple stages pulsing with hypnotic and melodic sounds, interactive installations, ritual areas, live performers, communal gathering, poetry recitals, ceremonial offerings, and artistic displays inspired by Itzpapálotl’s four mirrors.

Flooding the sound system at this multi-sensory escape is French DJ/producer Viken Arman, who seamlessly blends jazz, house, minimal, hip-hop, and world music into the mix. Iran-born, Canada-raised, and Berlin-based duo Madota taps into soulful vibrations layered with darker, experimental grooves reaped from their varied cultural upbringing.

Funky, jazzy house artist BRUNNÄ joins alongside multidisciplinary artist Jo. Ke and Isabeau Fort, a devotee of melodic and atmospheric textures. Deck wizards GiZ, Dr. Parnassus, Magisus, Durango 95, and Selva round out the line-up.

Doors swing open at 05:00 PM, and the secret location will be announced closer to the event date.
