100% Profits From Moby’s Coachella 2026 Shows Will Be Going to Animal Rights Organizations

Moby’s second appearance at Coachella is scheduled for Friday, April 17.

Electronic music icon and longtime animal rights activist Moby will be donating all the profit he will be making from his Coachella 2026 performances to animal rights organizations. The Harlem-born producer got behind the decks at the California festival’s Mojave Tent. His next set at Coachella is set to take place at the Mojave Tent today.

“I wanted to announce that I’ll be giving 100% of my profits from both shows at Coachella to four different animal rights organizations and the reason I picked these four” (Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, Humane League, Mercy for Animals and Direct Action Everywhere) is because they do very unique interesting things in the world of animal rights,” Moby said via a video shared on Instagram. “To be clear, there are hundreds if not thousands of amazing animal rights organizations but I just wanted to focus on these four for now. So again, 100% of my profits from the two shows at Coachella going to these four organizations and hopefully see you in person or virtually this Friday.”

The caption for the post read: “Music is what i love, but working on animal rights is my life’s work. To that end i’ll be giving 100% of my profits from my @coachella shows to @physicianscommittee @mercyforanimals @thehumaneleague @directactioneverywhere . My simple belief that every sentient being is entitled to live their life according to their will.”

Moby has carved out his name in electronic music, having sold over 20 million records globally. He also continues to support charities and animal rights organizations and raise awareness about animal cruelty, even at Coachella.

Coachella 2026 kicked off on April 10, and Weekend 1 wrapped up on April 12. The festival rolls into Weekend 2 today and will conclude the 2026 edition on Sunday, April 19. Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G are the headliners of Coachella 2026. The massive line-up also includes Nine Inch Noize (Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize), singer-songwriter and composer Labrinth, Kaskade, Icelandic singer-songwriter Laufey, PinkPantheress, South Korean singer Taemin, and English indie rock outfit The xx, among other thrilling acts.
