He brings his unmistakable underground bass energy and dynamic UK-inspired soundscapes to The Office in Nashville on May 23 as part of his ongoing The Last Recipe Tour. After recently hosting the likes of Nostalgix and Perry Wayne, 604 Gallatin Avenue is locked in for another onslaught of electronic rhythms spanning deep dubstep, 140, grime, experimental bass, breaks, and underground bass cuts.
This concert is listed as one of the final stops of the Denver-based producer’s solo headlining gigs as Chef Boyarbeatz, with the artist seemingly steering toward a refreshed moniker and undertaking.
In an online statement, Chef Boyarbeatz wrote that he often felt disconnected from his name and direction, remarking, “I ultimately feel I’ve still been put into a box wherever I go.” In the same post, he clarified that he will continue to work on music under a new project, “that will be revealed further down the road.”
Before moving on from the Chef Boyarbeatz alias, the artist dropped a new track, ‘Wheel,’ (released on May 1), in collaboration with dubstep savant Combine and further took over the reins at Denver’s EDM culture hub Club Studio Time to produce a 30-minute session.
Gates at the venue open at 10 PM with the support card packing in bass fanatic Mikayli, dubstep flagbearer YODEV, and Nashville-based producer thughippie.
Brooklyn-based audio engineer/producer Mikayli will be making his Nashville debut at this gig. He told us, “I’m really looking forward to the Chef Boyarbeatz show in Nashville.”
“You can expect my set to take you on a journey through a mostly original journey of 140, garage, and drum & bass. I’ve never been to Nashville, so I’m excited to come into town and see what the scene out there is about. Biggest of ups to Chef Boyarbeatz for bringing me out!”
This final phase of Chef Boyarbeatz’s tour runs through cities of Austin, Charleston (Camp Kouch Festival), Sacramento, Portland, Nashville, Ferndale, Providence, and Flagstaff (June Jam Festival), along with appearances at Wubstock 2026, Nocturnal Valley Music & Arts Festival, and Same Same But Different Music Festival.
