Including works from aliases System F and Gouryella, the musical selections at WTF showcase Ferry’s diverse influences as an artist, making it a Ferry Corsten experience from start to finish.

My track ‘Out of The Blue’ under my System F alias is the song that really kicked off this crazy journey I’ve been on. It gained huge support in places like the UK, but one of the wildest milestones of ‘Out of The Blue’ is that it placed in the top 10 of Japan’s singles chart for three consecutive years!
No one could have possibly known this, and the very thought of made us go, WTF:
It’s no secret that I make music. It’s my biggest passion! Especially dance music. But, over the years I’ve had the chance to create remixes for artists and bands across a whole range of genres including U2, The Killers, Justin Bieber, Duran Duran, and Public Enemy to name a few.
Here comes Ferry Corsten’s studio downtime:
On and off the stage, I just love to have fun and one of my favorite hobbies is snowboarding. I’ve been into winter sports since I was around 8 or 9 years old. I love the culture of it, and the calm that comes from escaping the city and heading for the mountains to take in those panoramic views.
Ferry reminisces about one of his favorite moments behind the console:
People do the strangest things during my shows, it’s never a tame ride. One experience that caught me off guard was when I was touring South America and during the breakdown of the song… everyone in the audience sat down and immediately jumped back up when the beat dropped back in! At first, my thought as a DJ was that the whole audience coming to a show was a nightmare, but this turned out to be pretty cool.

So, if I’m not in the club or on the slopes, it’s likely I’ll be deep in thought watching a documentary on space. I’ve had a long fascination with space and a few years ago I was offered the chance to try out zero gravity with Space Adventures. Today, this is easily available but back then, it was strictly for astronauts in training, so it was a huge deal and a mind-blowing experience that I still look back on now.
Maybe one day I’ll get the chance to go to the moon… I wonder if anyone is hosting a party up there anytime soon!
