Mumbai-based DJ/producer DNKLE places listeners in a soundscape of the known and unknown, sketching a calming yet rugged score on his new track, ‘Obscurite.’
Released via his own label, Gita Recordings, the electronic artist probes into dark and light expanses on this offering while plugging in tantalizing melodic techno shifts, progressive house layers, and skillfully engineered drops.
Picking up with electro shards pressed against techno pulsations, ‘Obscurite’ gradually submerges you in a dark, immersive post-apocalyptic environment. Growling atmospheric textures soon seep in, followed by soothing melodic motifs balanced with raw, gritty themes, which frame a downright hypnotic danceable rhythm.
DNKLE looked to the French term for “darkness,” i.e., obscurity, to flawlessly embrace the track’s soundscape and feel. This release follows up his previous drop, ‘Love For Me‘ (January 2025), which has garnered over 80K streams on Spotify thus far.
