Teej to Stop by Napier During New Zealand Tour

Napier’s electronic scene titans, Pulse Promotions, dial in deep, minimal, and techy throbs via UK DnB artist Teej! They morph their regular stopping grounds, Cabana Bar in Napier, Hawke’s Bay Region, into a piping hot melting pot of garage, 140, and drum & bass on April 4, 2026. Headlining the din and making his New Zealand debut is Bristol-based DnB scene shaper Teej, the second international act Pulse Promotions has hauled in. Tickets to Teej’s show in Napier are available now via Ticket Fairy.

Teej ferries his lush, minimal grooves and scintillating sound to the Kiwi and Aussie DnB faithful for the first time in April 2026. Currently, he is scheduled to take over a host of venues across AUNZ, with Christchurch, Napier, and Melbourne among the stops down under.

In the music scene for nearly a decade now, Teej has played a significant hand in shaping the new wave of 130-174 BPM music, sculpting a versatile style that courses fluidly through the DnB spectrum. He also serves as the founder of NYX Recordings, his imprint, which drives forward sounds from the underground and scours minimal, dark, and experimental avenues of electronic music.

For this DnB uprising on Easter weekend, Pulse Promotions has gathered a stellar crew of supporting acts to rip through the dance floor. Attendees will be treated to a hard-hitting session from Zac Burlace, best known as SIDESHOW; jump up mainstay Joshua Robertson, under the moniker P4NDA; and a tantalizing B2B from HP (Hamesh Powell) and TOSTY (Adam Tostevin).

We heard from all four supporting artists, who walked us through their upcoming sets and voiced a few words about Teej and what attendees can anticipate from the night.

SIDESHOW said, “Handing over to Teej is definitely up there at the peak of my DJing journey so far. He’s at the top of his game at the moment, so to have him grace our shores, particularly Napier, is so wicked. Stacked with Hawkes Bay’s finest, be prepared for big rollers, 140 naughtys and hot steppers all evening for the best night of bass Hawkes Bay has seen over the last 12 months. Pulse Promotions is on fire.”

“Super stoked to be a part of the Pulse Promotions show and to be on support for Teej is massive for me. I’m really excited. You can expect a curated showcase of some of my favorite DnB tunes, old and new, lots of dubs and bootlegs to get everyone going and singing along. Really grateful to be sharing the night with such a stacked lineup,” expressed P4NDA.

TOSTY chimed in, “I’m super stoked to be on support for Teej. When I first started mixing, I used to play his tunes all the time. I’m a long-time fan. Opening with UKG alongside HP, you can expect funky anthems and soothing bass in my segments.”
