Mozey Plans to DJ While Running the London Marathon

UK-based DJ/producer Mozey is getting ready to run the London Marathon on April 26, and he aims to do so while DJing. If the 26.2-mile (42.16481-kilometer) course is successfully completed in less than five hours, he will be a Guinness World Record holder.
“I’m running the London Marathon whilst doing a DJ set and I need YOU guys to help me raise money for the amazing Make A Wish foundation,” announced Mozey via a post shared on Instagram. He will also be doing giveaways, video messages, and prizes like DJing at birthdays and weddings, and one-hour 1-on-1 sessions upon entering a prize draw, with all the proceeds going to the Make A Wish Foundation UK.
Prior to running the London Marathon, Mozey is set to headline a show at Troxy, London, on April 25 before thousands of ravers. He’ll be seen carrying the DJ equipment on his shoulders during the run the following day, making him the first artist to DJ while completing the London Marathon.
“Playing a headline show to 2,000 people and then waking up to run a marathon while DJing might not be the smartest idea I’ve ever had, but if it raises money for an amazing charity and gives people something fun to get behind, it’s worth it,” says Mozey as per DJ Mag.
Mozey posted a video of himself walking on a treadmill with the DJ equipment on Instagram in preparation for the marathon.
