Ganadores de los 53.º NAACP Image Awards 2022

Presentados por Anthony Anderson, los 53.º NAACP Image Awards, que reconocen los logros de personas de color en la cultura y el entretenimiento, se entregaron el sábado en BET.

Los NAACP Image Awards 2022 coronaron a Jennifer Hudson como la Artista del Año. También se llevó el premio a Mejor Actriz en una Película por su interpretación de Aretha Franklin en ‘Respect‘, de MGM/UA, mientras que Will Smith ganó el premio a Mejor Actor en una Película por ‘King Richard‘. Smith interpretó a Richard Williams, padre de Serena y Venus Williams en la película.

‘Insecure‘ se llevó el trofeo a Mejor Serie de Comedia. Issa Rae ganó el premio a Mejor Actriz en una Serie de Comedia, mientras que Sterling K. Brown, de This Is Us, y Angela Bassett, de 9-1-1, se llevaron los galardones en las categorías de Actor y Actriz de Drama, respectivamente.
