Hailing from Hanover in Germany, the pair, comprising of Matze and Johannes, have traveled far and wide to wow audiences with their music, which guarantees to pull everyone to the dancefloor! They’ve raised the roofs at Silk Beach Club, Incógnito Club (Bogotá), Salón Amador (Medellín, Colombia), Petco Park Stadium (San Diego) at an event headlined by Australian music producer Fisher, Mia Restaurant & Beach Club (Tulum), the Project GLOW Festival, and Disco Radar, among other exciting venues.
Mat.Joe’s latest release ‘Gaida’ is a track with frequent collaborators C’mon and producer/DJ Otistic. The duo’s music style is described as “crispy housebeats paired with rhythmic soul and hip-hop elements” as per Beatport. They spent a major chunk of their time making music last year, eventually rolling out singles including ‘Sunflower,’ ‘Hypnotized,’ and ‘Estelle (American Boy)’ with C’mon and Otistic, ‘Peso,’ and ‘Magic’ (feat. Issa). Matze and Joe also released an EP with C’mon and Otistic in 2022.
Some of Mat.Joe’s tracks that have crossed the 1 million mark on Spotify are ‘Beneath The Moon’ with Kevin Knapp and ‘Ya Know.’ ‘Conga Rock,’ a collaboration with Diplo, has garnered over 6.6 million streams, while ‘Feelike’ – a track with Robosonic and Ashibah, has surpassed 1.5 million streams.
