Adana Twins Return to Their Label TAU With ‘Mirage’

The label bosses are back with another exhilarating track in their own distinctive and progressive style.

Refining their sound constantly, pushing the boundaries of their musical ambition and evolving organically with the passage of time, Adana Twins have rightfully placed their names in the top tier of electronic dance music. Merging Benjamin’s love of hip-hop and Friso’s passion for club music, and a deep-seated desire to transmit emotion through electronic music, the German duo have been working together since 2006.

As they’ve grown in stature and influence, the Adana Twins have channeled their love for electronic music into their own platform, TAU. The label was launched in 2018 with the aim of giving them the creative space to expand their sound while also discovering and nurturing new artists. Over the years, artists like Innellea, Human Machine, Mathias Schober, BOg, Santiago Garcia, Daniel Bortz, Luis Junior, Isolée, Amberoom, and Ede have appeared on the label; making the imprint’s releases one of the most anticipated ones in the scene.

Staying true to their and the label’s ethos, the label bosses have now returned to their own label for a fresh new cut to bring their unique brand of electronic music to the dance floors of the world with a vibrant and funky number ‘Mirage.’

A gentle build-up guides us into the main body of the track, with a bright swathe of layers establishing a buoyant feeling from the beginning. The duo adds additional layers to complement and amplify the main riff, cultivating an enchanting and immersive atmosphere. After an initial breakdown, more layers are added, bringing a hint of eeriness to proceedings.

The second breakdown really exemplifies the duo’s ability to create spellbinding moments on the dance floor, with gentle piano keys and myriad emotive elements to really touch the hearts of those listening. A monumental build-up explodes out into the final section of this uplifting cut, full of positivity. By the time ‘Mirage’ comes to an end, you’re guaranteed to have a smile on your face.
