The UK’s junglist Jack Stevens, best known as Sully, takes his brand of electronic dance music charged with 2-step, UK garage, dubstep, and grime to Auckland this May! The touted cult figure in jungle music arrives on Kiwi shores as part of a three-city tour with shows lined up for Wellington, Christchurch, and Auckland. Before the journey to Aoteraoa, Sully makes his way to Nottingham for Jangala’s jungle music spectacle – Flora and Fauna, and then to Australia for gigs in early May (Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney) before darting back to England for the returning Project 6 Festival.
Joining Sully and ramping up proceedings for the evening in Auckland, the artist card brags breaks and bass maverick Ohimesama Breaks, who sounds in a jungle beat at 160 bpm. Local acts Mittz, Gull, and Omnist round out the artist line-up for the event.
Sully recently made his debut on London’s jungle/drum & bass radio station KOOL FM alongside singer/producer SALO, producing a tantalizing hour-long set. Their set has received much praise in the comments, with viewers highlighting the top-notch music selection and SALO’s performance.
