After flailing out absolute dance bops in ‘Pedro,’ ‘Desire’ and ‘Vale La Pena,’ Berlin-raised electronic music producer JAXOMY has whipped out yet another stimulating beat, ‘She’s So High.’ This outing sees the artist flanked by Englishman Conor Maynard, who supplies his pristine vocal sections to concoct a thumping dance-pop banger.
JAXOMY’s latest drop is characterized by an energetic pulse, upbeat throbbings, and UK pop vibrancy. Maynard’s velvety voice is tidily stewed into the rhythm, echoing each lyric with that oomph. Beyond the synth and glossy bass throbbings, wedged into the tune are striking pop-esque arrangments of percussions, guitars, and keyboards.
JAXOMY is largely associated with reshaping a 1980s classic from late Italian singer Raffaella Carrà to produce the viral smash hit ‘Pedro.’ This repacked Italian pop piece was released in 2024, forty years after the original racked up over 350 million streams, hit the number-one spot on Spotify’s Viral Global Charts, and earned quadruple platinum status.
The German artist has also earned support from industry bigwigs, including Don Diablo, Robin Schulz, Tiësto, Timmy Trumpet, Sam Feldt, Martin Garrix, and more. At the time of writing, ‘She’s So High’ has clocked up over 100,000 plays on Spotify and its music video starring the two collaborating artists at work has been viewed 26,000 times.
