“End your summer the only way that makes sense at @sunsoaked on the beach with @kaskade,” Insomniac Events wrote on Instagram this month. Chicago-born DJ/producer Kaskade has teamed up with Insomniac Events to present a 2025 edition of the power-packed Sun Soaked festival. The effervescent festival first offered explosive sets on the sandy Alamitos Beach in 2017, drawing in thousands of dance music fans. Sun Soaked saw a temporary pause in 2019 and is now ready to make a grand comeback in a new Southern California location, Huntington State Beach.
The festival is scheduled for September 6 with a line-up perfect for the sunset vibes! With Kaskade and the masked French dance music producer/DJ Malaa heading the bill, it is going to be a beachside musical experience like no other. Italian house music producer trio MEDUZA and Grammy-nominated house duo SIDEPIECE have also been tapped to bring the heat to California this September alongside Walker & Royce.
New York-born singer-songwriter Anabel Englund will also head to Huntington State Beach for Sun Soaked 2025, with UKG/bass producer MPH and SKILAH completing the roster for this sizzling party.
“Sun Soaked is a shapeshifting project. The first year we put it together with grit, sand, music and a lot of tenacity. The second year, we went bigger—and it got better. Bringing it back to Southern California now after seven years is so exciting for me,” said Kaskade, as per EDM.com via a press release. “I’m a beach guy, I want my toes in the sand and the sun on my face while I do what I love—and I’m hoping there are some people who want to share that with me.”
