EDC Announces Debut Festival in Colombia For 2026

The Electric Daisy Carnival is getting ready to set the stage for a fiery musical gathering for the first time ever in Colombia next year.
“Nos vemos en Medellín! We’ve danced all around the world together, and now we’re bringing the magic of EDC to a brand-new destination… Medellín, Colombia! Medellín is a city full of vibrant culture, endless creativity, and electric energy. Its spirit is fueled by a unique blend of history, transformation, art, and passion. This makes it a truly special stop on our EDC World Party Tour and the perfect place to create unforgettable memories Under the Electric Sky,” EDC Las Vegas wrote on Instagram while announcing the festival’s debut in Colombia.
The dance music festival giant has confirmed that EDC Colombia will be held at Medellin’s Unidad Deportiva Atanasio Girardot in October 2026. Ever since its inception in 1997 in Los Angeles, California, the Electric Daisy Carnival has branched out and taken its magic to different parts of the world, with events in Mexico, Brazil, Japan, the UK, and India, with the latest being Thailand. Its flagship event in Las Vegas is one of the biggest dance music parties in the world, hosting over 525,000 ravers. EDC is one of the most sought-after stages for both dance music titans and rising stars.
For its Colombia edition, EDC is working in tandem with Páramo Presenta. “Páramo Presenta is an incredible team that fits that perfectly. Medellín also offers a venue that can support the scale and creativity EDC is known for, along with the backing we need from the city and local community,” Pasquale Rotella, CEO and founder of EDC, said in a press release as per DJ Mag.

EDC Las Vegas 2025 took place last month at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway with Charlotte de Witte, Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Andy C, Armin van Buuren, Miss Monique, Chase & Status, BLOBD:ISH, and more.
