After a highly favorable reception with ‘THE MADNESS,’ Danish electronic producer HEDEGAARD rounds out his troops once again on the new release.
HEDEGAARD has launched another exhilarating car music venture with ‘TWINKLE,’ via his imprint OneHundred Records. Seemingly cut from the same cloth as ‘THE MADNESS,’ producer Matt Hawk and rapper CANCUN? return on this outing to deliver punchy grooves and intense rap flows.
Described as “a bold and energetic techno-influenced house cut,” CANCUN? stamps his presence on this mix with rugged rap bars over thumping bass bops and electro flares. The mix amplifies with cracking synths, emphatic percussive drops, and grim hypnotic patterns to create a vigorous storm of topline, G-house, and techno.
With this single, the Danish producer once again strikes all the right sensibilities for ravers at clubs or music festivals, and adds yet another fixture to his car music discography. HEDEGAARD announced on social media that ‘TWINKLE’ was “born in the dark, made to shine,” while CANCUN? added that “they had a damn good time making this one.”
Since its release on June 27, the dance music community has echoed support for this single, with the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Don Diablo, and Swanky Tunes being the first ones.
‘TWINKLE’ is accompanied by a music video, which at the time of writing has over 29,000 views; aside from the title, it only sporadically depicts a blinking eye in monochrome.
