Cosmic Gate Continues ‘Perspectives’ Series with EP 2

Grammy-nominated electronic music pair Cosmic Gate wrap up their ‘Perspectives’ project with the release of its highly anticipated second chapter.

‘Perspectives EP 2’ rounds together the German duo’s previous exploits, ‘You’ and ‘Never Erase You,’ along with a brand new track titled ‘Heaven Knows.’

First previewed during Cosmic Gate’s Tomorrowland Store Ibiza rooftop session in Ibiza, ‘Heaven Knows’ sees Cosmic Gate enlist the talents of singer-songwriter MARLENE, vocalist RYVM, and producer DianDian on this project.

‘Heaven Knows’ unfurls with Cosmic Gate’s characteristic blend of progressive house and trance elements, while also spooning in equal parts of angelic and emotive singing. Prepared with glowing synths, jerking basslines, and throbbing techno waves, the cut delivers an intense yet melodic dance beat.

Tantalizingly midway through, the energy strips back to just the harmonizing vocals pressed against a darker, atmospheric sound before building back up to the drop.

Since its launch on October 31, ‘Heaven Knows’ has amassed over 100,000 streams on Spotify, with its music video reaching nearly 120,000 views on YouTube at the time of writing.

On social media, Cosmic Gate described the tune as a “heartfelt collaboration” with the participating artists and conveyed, “We fell in love with them the very first moment we heard them and knew we had to make a track together. We hope you feel it as much as we do!”
