Indo Warehouse wraps up the year on a high note with a floor-rattling team-up with melodic house maestro Anyasa and folk fusion duo Lost Stories.

This debut collaboration from the three units, known for pairing global sounds with rich South Asian and Indian textures, sparks dancefloor magic. “This record represents the roots of our movement and celebrates where it’s headed next. We’re really proud of this record,” expressed one half of Indo Warehouse, Kunal Merchant, via a press note.

‘Patasa’ unleashes a weighty mix of folk rhythms laced with melodic house and techno flavors. As for the beat, you’ll hear booming bass lines, melodic flows, dhol smacks matched with tribal percussions, and a driving momentum that keeps the energy high.

Singer and music composer Sarthak Kalyani steers the track with his commanding vocals, bellowing the Punjabi folk expression “baari barsi khatan gaya si… khat ke leynadi… patasa.” This cheery saying, or boliyan, is traditionally sung during the festivities of a Punjabi wedding.

Talking about this collaboration, Kunal Merchant further stated, “Anyasa and Lost Stories have been paving the foundation for South Asian electronic music for quite some time. Bringing them together for their first original record is a huge moment for us!”

Up next for Indo Warehouse is a four-city India tour this December, hitting Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Goa, while Anyasa ships his magnetic sounds to Indore, Mumbai, and multiple cities in Goa.

‘Patasa’ is currently streaming on all major audio platforms
