NERVO x Tiscore ft. Polina Vita – ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’
Originally released in 1984 as a charity single featuring Bono, Sting, Phil Collins, George Michael, Sara Dallin, and Siobhan Fahey, ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’ received a progressive house makeover in 2024 with Australian duo NERVO at the helm. Singer Polina Vita delivers the song’s emotive lyrics, while the twin sisters layer a pop-infused, driving house pulse beneath.
Kayote – ‘Project Xmas (A Not So Silent Night)’
Traversing into Amsterdam-based DJ/producer Kayote’s Spotify discography reveals a fascinating inventory of holiday-themed undertakings all tuned to a thumping bass and hard-hitting techno relays. Kayote’s December 2025 album ‘Project Xmas (A Not So Silent Night)’ rips apart the quintessential Yuletide tracks, such as ‘Deck The Halls,’ ‘Feliz Navidad,’ ‘Carol of the Bells,’ and ‘Santa Baby,’ ingeniously shuffling them with rapid-fire synths, flickering beat relays, and pounding rhythms to craft an explosive techno reboot perfect for the festive-season revelry.

October 2023 saw masked EDM producer Naeleck, progressive psy-trance team Vini Vici, and hard dance duo MARNIK join forces to morph the haunting yet symphonic melody ‘Carol of the Bells’ into a propulsive psytrance and hard techno cut. Blazing at 150 BPM, the original orchestral sections, piano patterns, and hair-raising vocal harmonies remain; however, the composition rattles with a scorching wall of throbbing basslines, fierce kick percussion, and frantic industrial textures.
