North Holland’s esteemed drum & bass assemblage, Liquicity Festival, marks its tenth appearance, spread over three days this July!
What started as a YouTube channel in 2008 has now evolved into one of Europe’s leading DnB festivals and an integral part of the Dutch electronic music scene.
Liquicity marks its tenth appearance with its usual melodic and emotional drum & bass weight, along with a range of activities, including workshops, arts and crafts, wellness, sports, and more. It will take place at the Geestmerambacht recreational area on July 24, 25, and 26. Its gargantuan music card boasts the who’s who of the drum & bass scene, fanned across the Galaxy, Solar and Lunar Stage.
In a nod to its roots, the promoters bring back electronic heavyweights Fox Stevenson, Feint, Hybrid Minds, BCee, Rameses B, NCT, T & Sugah, Cartoon, and Dualistic, who were part of the festival’s debut in 2015. Liquicity co-founder Mark van der Schoot, best known as the DJ/producer Maduk, also slots in.
Drum & bass elites Netsky, Wilkinson, Hybrid Minds, Andy C, Shy FX, Koven, A.M.C, Andromedik, Calibre, Culture Shock, Delta Heavy, Kanine, and Sigma, along with Maduk and Fox Stevenson, make up the crop of the festival’s headliners.
Jumping about the Galaxy Stage are acts ÆON: MODE, Oneiroi, AKTIVE, Auris, Artino, Hiraeth, goddard, Dossa, Catching Cairo, Jon Void, Nymfo, Yue, Dustkey, Operator21, Kietsune, duo Matt View & Hannelotta, and Phoibe.
Electronic artists Mandidextrous, Eskei83, Natty Lou, Boxplot, Disrupta, Ekko & Sidetrack, Genetics, Loboski, Sless, Lexurus, L.A.O.S, Matrix & Futurebound, Pirapus, Subsonic, Tantrum Desire, Voicians, 48Past, Aperio, Voxi, mod, LIRIOS, Flint & Figure, and Zazu take over the Solar-themed setup.
Pola & Bryson, Basstripper, S.P.Y, Etherwood, Monrroe, IMANU, Pythius, Skantia, Low:r, Lenzman, GLXY, Edlan, Anaïs, Alibi, 4 AM KRU light up the Lunar Stage. They are flanked by Creek, Styke, imo-Lu., Ipkiss, Technimatic, Mies FM, Noppo, ALB, and Telomic.
