The beautiful Papaya Playa Project is gearing up to welcome Monolink this January for Gratitude Season. The German singer-songwriter and EDM producer will be sharing the Tulum-based venue’s booth with Goldcap, Mystery Affair, and more on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. A frequent performer across venues in Mexico, Monolink kicked off the year in Tulum in style. Steffen Linck AKA Monolink has also played at Coachella, OFFSónar in Barcelona and Zürich Openair this year. He displayed his musical skills on the Mayan Warrior stage in Los Angeles for a Halloween Farewell Fundraiser in October. His Autumn Tour took him to Medellin, Camboriú, Campinas, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Rosario, and Córdoba, with Monolink getting ready to perform in Goa, India, next week.
On the musical front, Monolink’s two-track EP ‘Running/White Walls’ came out in February, with the collaborative track ‘Point of No Return’ released in the following month. He shared a Parra for Cuva remix of his track ‘Turning Away’ in April before rolling out ‘The Silence’ with Stephan Jolk, along with an extended version in May. His latest musical release is ‘Laura (Argya & Omnya Remix).’
Joining Monolink on the line-up is Goldcap, who has taken over massive stages like Day Zero Festival in Tulum, Public Works, Get Lost Miami, and Lightning in a Bottle. The DJ/producer and musician stopped at I Feel Love Festival, Damian Lazarus Saturdays at Hi, Shambhala Festival, and cities including Mykonos, San Francisco, and NYC as part of his Summer Tour 2023.
Queer DJ/producer, PWR rave service boss and music label curator Mystery Affair will also head to Papaya Playa Project on January 3. Keep your eyes peeled on their Instagram; more artists are yet to be announced!
