Goa-born and Mumbai-based vocalist/producer Jaden Maskie introduces a fresh sound to his music catalog with his first Hindi song, ‘Rehnuma,’ forged with composer Arijit Anand and the EDM duo Toxiyls.
Jaden’s latest song arrives on the back of his many well-received singles, such as ‘Dreaming In My Mind’ and ‘The Way I Fall in Love,’ a few notable musical collaborations (Sparsh Dangwal, Aarya), and work as a dubbing and vocal recording artist.
Leaning on impactful alliances, he ties in with evocative singer-songwriter Arijit Anand and producer pair Toxiyls to unlock a newness to his sound on ‘Rehnuma,’ a tune about deep love and longing.
Lyrically formulated by Arijit Anand, known for his genuine and relatable lyrics, Jaden delivers a strong performance over warm pop production, which evokes yearning, affection, and selflessness. Woven into the melody are hints of unsettling sonics that elicit a passionate yet tense atmosphere, combined with gloomy synths, upbeat percussion, and picky guitar parts.
Jaden expressed via press release, “It talks about how being without that special someone feels impossible, like a habit you just can’t break. Their beauty shines like the moon, and their presence brings peace. In the end, the love feels so pure and powerful that it almost feels divine.”
