FTS collective’s Specter and Tineas lash out ‘Milkman,’ a two-minute rager threaded together with humorous lyrics laid over pounding bass stabs and dub-esque trenches. The tune takes inspiration from the “YOU DRANK ALL THE F-ING MILK MAN” viral meme, with the duo lassoing in fierce rap bars, distorted 808s, and heady percussion work into the mix.
‘Milkman’ opens to gritty and tense production before jerking into multiple quick-fire rap verses. “Got this in the bag” forms a hooky and catchy lyric within its alternative hip-hop theme. FTS collective-mate Quest provides additional vocals on the track.
Frequency Time Space is a Mumbai-based five-piece crew that puffs out music emanating from hip-hop, rap, and pop elements. Abhijit Nair, under the alias Specter, has been a staple feature since 2018, while MC Tanmay Saxena or Tienas aka Bobby Boucher, flags off ‘Milkman’ on the back of his 2023 releases ‘M.I.A,’ ‘Monkey Balance,’ and ‘Everyday Chemistry.’
