The line-up includes Auckland-based Dick Johnson, also known as Magik J. He’s known for his remixes of popular songs by artists like Fatboy Slim, Crookers, Claude Von Stroke, and more. Apart from his alias Magik J, he is also known to be part of the band Weird Together and musical duo Clicks. Dick Johnson heads to Summer Essentials following his successful appearance at Rhythm & Alps 2023-2024 as part of the orchestra troop Synthony.
While you unwind and enjoy mouthwatering cuisines and fresh cocktails, you’ll witness house and UKG DJ/Producer duo Glass Avenue, techno trop System, Dunedin/Auckland-based DJ collective 3Iron, house/UKG DJ Danni, house DJ Hollie, drum & bass sister duo Skytri, Blonde, multi-genre trio Trident, Otautahi/Tamaki Makaurau-based three piece DJ H.O.D., and lastly trio Mammoth from Dunedin/Auckland all laying out mixes of the hottest tracks you’ll ever find.
