With a career spanning over a decade, his commitment to innovation and mentorship ensures his enduring influence on club culture, which has led to him gracing prestigious stages from Ibiza’s Hï to festivals like Tomorrowland and Glastonbury, to name a few.
In 2019, Patrick Topping launched Trick, a label and event brand, set up to provide a platform for his own music and to act as an incubator for up-and-coming artists, as well as a home for established acts; as a result, the label has fostered a dedicated fanbase and is hosting acclaimed events worldwide.
For his first single of 2024 on Trick, Patrick Topping has returned to his label, bringing his signature raved-up, club-ready sounds across the rip-roaring ‘Energy.’
“The title of this track sums up the vibe! Just a pure energy blast from start to finish. Hannah did such a massive, euphoric vocal, so I kept the beat techy and heavy as a contrast. Been causing scenes all over this, with so many asking for its ID. One of my favourite things I’ve ever made,” said Patrick Topping about the track.
No messing about right from the word go, the tune hits you with its thumping drums and dreamy vocals and only continues its progression to rise in intensity. Patrick Topping may just have given the European festival summer one of its heavy rotation numbers.
