Pirapus Heads to Auckland and Wellington for New Zealand Tour 2024

Christchurch-based drum & bass duo Pirapus, sparked by deck magicians George Murray and Ben Hollamby, roar through their future DnB tour of Australia and New Zealand this October! After jostling DnB fanatics in Queenstown last month, Pirapus makes way for Christchurch, Auckland, Wellington, and Perth carrying along their hard-hitting new release ‘GO BACK.’ The duo will check in at Auckland’s Pointers Bar on October 11, followed by Eva in Wellington on October 12, before jetting off for Australian soil, where they made their debut performance in February of this year. Tickets to Pirapus’ shows in Auckland and Wellington are brought to you by The Ticket Fairy.

Pirapus have gradually engraved themselves into Kiwi DnB lore, gaining recognition from some of the heavyweights in electronic music such as the Chainsmokers, Andy C, 1991, Netsky, Sub Focus, and Pendulum, while also orchestrating crowds at numerous music festivals and venues in Aotearoa. The pair were hailed as George FM’s ‘Breakthrough Artist of the Year 2021’ owing to their diverse mix of sonic styles and ethereal soundscapes.

The artists recently announced they have signed on with London-based agency MBArtists, so you can expect them to be touring across the UK and Europe soon.

DnB/house acts Fin Diesel and Pascale are scheduled to heat up the dancefloor at Pointers in Auckland with a b2b showcase. Also listed are A-Street and Daniel ‘SLESS’ Slessor, who arrives on the back of his thumping recent releases ‘Alone‘ and ‘Half-Life.’ This gig is boosted by a special appearance by Aussie songwriter/producer Solomon France.

Deep Notion joins the card in addition to Solomon France for the concert at Eva pub and live events space in Wellington. The artist line-up is strengthened by DnB trio Cerberus, KALO, and Anna Schouten (MissThirty3,) who perform under the moniker of Mixing Dollz.
