OFFAIAH Stops By Auckland During New Zealand-Australia Tour 2024

Auckland’s newest nightlife addition, the swanky Crown Nightclub, snaps up Australia and New Zealand-bound music producer OFFAIAH for a concert on Saturday, December 7, 2024! Defected Records’ Michael Woods, best known as OFFAIAH, flies down to AUNZ for a run of shows commencing in Melbourne, followed by gigs at Auckland, Sydney, Mt.Maunganui, Brisbane, and Perth. Presented by Crown Events, the UK-born and LA-based artist takes over Crown Nightclub to whip out his blend of deep groove house, house, and tech house music. A few notable highlights of OFFAIAH’s career include his 2018 releases ‘Somewhere Special’ and ‘Soldier,’ which grabbed pole position on the Beatport House Chart. In October of this year, OFFAIAH was ranked number 48th on the Top 101 Producers by 1001Tracklists data-driven list.

Behind the deck, along with performing to capacity crowds, the DJ/producer has whipped up remixes from the works of Calvin Harris (‘My Way’), Sam Smith (‘Promises’), and Deadmau5 (‘Hurricane’), while also having dubstep great Skrillex reimagine his 2018 house single ‘Push Pull’ as ‘Push,’ featuring Hamdi and TAICHU.

Talking with The Night Bazaar in 2024 about his method of music production, OFFAIAH conveyed, “I’m not sure my approach to music production has changed all that much since I started making music. It’s always been a case of sitting in front of the keyboard and jamming something out until something sounds good. I will say that over the years I’ve learnt techniques which have fine-tuned and streamlined the production process which allows me to get more done in a shorter amount of time.”

Setting the mood for the evening, the supporting acts include New Zealand music festival staple Lucy Hansard, who goes by LUCY, tech-house producer Max D Ace, Just Tunes, and duo Lawrence & RIXY.
