Pola & Bryson, Fred V And More Head to SD Union’s 15th Anniversary Show

United By Bass will celebrate 15 incredible years of SD Union events with UK drum & bass heavyweights Pola & Bryson, Fred V, and Sustance on the frontlines!

United By Bass will celebrate 15 incredible years of SD Union events with UK drum & bass heavyweights Pola & Bryson, Fred V, and Sustance on the frontlines! San Diego’s largest and longest-running drum & bass event custodian, SD Union, ups the ante for their milestone 15th-anniversary show by locking in a triple headliner spectacle for June 20, 2025, from 9 PM onwards. Tickets to SD Union 15 Year Anniversary show are up for grabs on Ticket Fairy.

Lodging once again at regular haunt Spin Nightclub, an exuberant three-story party locale on Hancock Street, the celebration will feature returns of Pola & Bryson and Fred V, and will also welcome drum & bass producer from London, Oscar Harding aka Sustance, for the first time to an SD Union setup.

All three incoming headliners arrive on the heels of new music releases this year. Sustance delivered a raging hot DnB/jungle track in ‘Six Gold Coins‘ via Shogun Audio in May 2025, Fred V dropped an absolute scorcher in ‘Sparks‘ (featuring vocalist Nu-La) via Hospital Records Limited, and Pola & Bryson recently uncorked their 15-track LP ‘Overgrown‘ also via Shogun Audio.

The entire premises of Spin Nightclub are sure to jostle all night long as names on the artist card are split out across each of its halls. In the second arena, San Diego-based multi-genre talent and management team Angry Dog Collective will lead the charge.

Hall One shapes up with drum & bass producers Alex ‘Chorux‘ Page, Haleigh Frampton aka Sprankles, and Tally G, with UBB and SD Union co-owner MC Ridda and Chemistry MC steering proceedings. Bass house and tech house ace Banyon, duo Not Yurs from Phoenix, DnB producers SPACECHANGER, and house music button pusher Clay Golden slot in at arena two as part of the Angry Dogs Collective takeover.

Ravers at this assemblage, be sure to watch out for Banyon’s catchy new soulful DnB cut titled ‘Me,’ which was released via United By Bass Recordings last month.

We spoke with producers Matt and Joseph, who will make their first performance as SPACECHANGER at SD Union. The duo conveyed, “We’re incredibly thrilled that our debut as SPACECHANGER is part of such an iconic event. It’s an honor to share the stage with our close friends and fellow members of the Angry Dog Collective—Banyon, Not Yurs, and Clay Goldin. Collaborating with the United by Bass / SD Union team is also a huge privilege; the lineup they’ve curated for the main stage is phenomenal, and we’re grateful to be part of it.”

Taking us through their upcoming performance, they stated, “Although we’ve DJed before on our other projects, this marks our first performance as SPACECHANGER, and we’re bringing something truly special. We’ve crafted a unique set composed entirely of our own material—released tracks, unreleased cuts, remixes, and even a sneak peek of our upcoming EP. We’re excited to share the energy and vision behind our music with the crowd.”

We also spoke with house and techno connoisseurs Not Yurs, comprised of electronic artists Garrett and Nathan, who will morph into DnB savants at this concert. They said, “This will be our first official D&B set as Not Yurs, and we have several original D&B tunes we’ll be ripping, along with many tracks from some of our good friends from Arizona like Gunblade and Peachy Keen.”

“We are from Arizona, so we are always grateful for the opportunity to play out of state, especially in one of our favorite cities that is home to our collective, Angry Dog! This will be our first time playing at Spin, and we are so excited, as we have seen some massive names at the venue in the past,” they added.

Not Yurs also spoke of an amusing story about being billed to play at this show away from home soil. This is because Pola & Bryson and Fred V are scheduled to play at Warehouse 215 (located in Phoenix, Arizona – their home turf) the following day for Aftershock & Relentless Beats presents Chase & Status. Not Yurs opened the main stage at this venue for DJ/record producer Green Velvet’s Lalaland party in February 2025.

Fittingly, the pair commented, “It feels like a full-circle experience getting to open for these artists at an out-of-state show! We have always loved Drum & Bass, so having the opportunity to play such a massive show with so many legendary artists truly means the world to us!”

Junglist and curtain raiser for the evening, Tally G, has steadily forged a robust career behind the decks going back over two decades. Her zeal and passion for drum & bass and performing at the anniversary show seeped through in our exchange.

“I am very much looking forward to the 15th Anniversary on the 20th. This event is a drum and bass night featuring Pola & Bryson, Fred V, and Sustance. Spin Nightclub is a great venue with ample space and great sound. Every time I go, they’ve updated and improved something, so there’s always something to look forward to,” voiced Tally G.

Giving us a slice of what her session will look like, Tally G revealed, “My set will be comprised of groovy and dark liquid and some moody and sexy rollers. I’m the opening performer, and I take that job seriously. I’m there to set the tone for the night and to get everyone warmed up.”

Discussing the performers and who Tally G is ready to groove to, she shared, “I am VERY excited to see all of the performers: Pola & Bryson, Fred V, Sustance, Chorux, and Sprankles (on the SD Union side). I have seen Pola & Bryson before, and they never disappoint. I’m going to be catching the first performance from Fred V, Sustance, and Chorux, and I’m definitely excited to dance to all of their sets. I’m not familiar with the crew and the artists on the other stage, but I am going to be checking them out as well.”

Lastly, Tally G heaped praise onto the promoters and organizers who continue to pipe in top-tier drum & bass showcases. The veteran noted, “Their parties are always positive and a ton of fun, and I am always honored to perform for them. This is my fourth event performing for them, and I always look forward. The crew is full of talented, bright, and kind individuals whom I am proud to call friends.”

Attendees have already matched the enthusiasm and excitement around this colossal-sized DnB extravaganza, as Early Bird, Tier One, as well as Tier Two passes have already sold out.
