Seth Troxler

The latest artist from the electronic music realm to announce a podcast is house/techno DJ/producer Seth Troxler. “Flirting with Friendship is about interesting people having interesting conversations, and Bill and I just being complete weirdos with each other,” says Seth Troxler in a trailer about the podcast. Filmed in Troxler’s parents’ house, the hour-long video podcast features Seth and his friend Bill Patrick having intriguing conversations along with a weekly guest. British dance music icon Damian Lazarus, techno, tech house, disco, and house producer/DJ John Acquaviva, Miranda Makaroff & Pascal Moscheni, Irish singer-songwriter and producer Róisín Murphy, DJ Tennis, George Stavro, New York-born multi-hyphenated artist, electronic musician Chris Korda, Marcello Burlon, and Argentine-Spanish Felipe Pantone have been confirmed to make an appearance.

The podcast is said to be Seth Troxler and his best friend Bill Patrick’s “vision of positive masculinity and a shift toward curating culture in new formats that champion curiosity, community and connection in ways that extend past the dance floor,” as per a statement shared with Billboard. Flirting with Friendship will also include a 20-minute “Pill-O-Talk” segment wherein listeners are welcomed to leave voicemails sharing their friendship struggles seeking guidance from Seth and Bill, and will take place bi-weekly.

Ruben De Ronde

Ruben De Ronde is the host of trance mammoth Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance’s associated podcast of the same name. The Dutch DJ/producer has been the co-producer of Armin’s weekly trance radio show ‘A State of Trance’ since 2007, and served as a co-host alongside him since 2020. Ruben has been hosting the podcast version of interviewing guests, holding discussions, giving listeners an update about events, ASOT projects, and more. Alison Wonderland’s ‘Radio Wonderland’ made its global debut in 2017 on SiriusXM. The Australian DJ/producer and singer’s show featured an exclusive interview with dance music superstar Skrillex. The weekly show sees her play her favorite dance music tracks and also includes guest mixes/selections from artists and interviews in a segment called ‘808s and Mates.’ “So stoked on ‘Radio Wonderland,’” she shared with Billboard in a press statement. “I get to play every song that I love and interview all my friends.
