DnB AllStars finally touched down in Thailand this year, bringing together a line-up of international heavyweights alongside rising regional talent. It marked a major moment for a scene that has been steadily growing for decades.
To celebrate this milestone, we caught up with a few of the performers to discuss lasting memories, personal milestones, and what this festival signifies for drum & bass culture across the region.
JAYSN
TFword: How did it feel to be among the artists billed at DnB AllStars Thailand’s debut? What was your set like?
JAYSN: It felt great to be part of DnB AllStars Thailand’s debut. I received really amazing feedback from the crowd, and I was glad to see people being so supportive throughout my set. I barely saw anyone leaving — everyone stayed engaged until the end.
TF: What is your favorite memory from the festival, or can you talk about a moment you will never forget?
JAYSN: One of my favorite memories was during my set when I noticed the lighting engineer in the second-floor control booth. At first, he was just sitting, but as I kept playing, he stood up and started vibing to the music, and stayed fully engaged the entire time. After the set, we spoke, and he told me he could really feel my passion while I was performing. That moment really stayed with me — it felt like a genuine and unreal connection through the music.
TF: Were there any artists you were excited to see perform, and why? Did you get a chance to interact with them?
JAYSN: I was especially excited to see Bou and Camo & Krooked. They were some of my go-to artists when I first got into Drum & Bass, so it was amazing to see them perform in Thailand. I didn’t get a chance to speak with them, but I did get to experience both of their sets from start to finish.
TF: What does hosting a DnB AllStars in Thailand mean for the local DnB scene and upcoming DJs in the area?
JAYSN: Hosting DnB AllStars in Thailand is a really meaningful step for the local Drum & Bass scene. As the first dedicated festival of this scale here, it shows how much the scene has grown and how strong the community is becoming. It brought together promoters, DJs, creatives, and venue teams, and gave motivation to many of us who are still growing and pushing the culture forward.
TF: Any closing thoughts or reflections you would like to share with us about your experience at DnB AllStars?
JAYSN: I’m really grateful to have been part of DnB AllStars. It was amazing to see the whole Thailand Drum & Bass community in one place and share that experience together. I can really see the scene continuing to grow from here. If the debut edition was already this strong, I’m excited to see how it develops in the coming years.

TF: How did it feel to be among the artists billed at DnB AllStars Thailand’s debut? What was your set like?
KAMIKO: I’m honestly so surprised to be part of an authentic UK Festival like DnB Allstars. It feels like a massive step up for me. Usually, I play at underground events or small clubs, but being on a stage this big where more people can see me… It’s incredible. I’m so happy to have helped push the DnB scene this far. As for my set, I absolutely loved it because I really focused on showcasing my identity while keeping that DnB Allstars vibe. It was also the first time I dared to step out of my comfort zone by playing on 3 decks. I’m so proud of myself, it felt like “I actually did it!”
TF: What is your favorite memory from the festival, or can you talk about a moment you will never forget?
KAMIKO: I’ve been following the festival’s progress since the day it was announced, from laying the turf and choosing the entrance gates to the overall decor. On the actual event day, seeing how well everything turned out was the first thing I loved about it. Next was the vibe; it was unlike anything I’ve ever seen in Thailand. Since there were very few locals, it felt like I was at a festival abroad. I made so many new friends, both Thai and international, met new fans who came to show their support, and all the artists were so lovely and friendly.
The moment I’ll never forget was the final day. I made sure to get to the venue early to sign up for a slot at the Rave Chapel Stage, where anyone could play for 20 minutes on a first-come, first-served basis. I went with two friends, and we ended up doing a B3B for a full hour. While I was playing, someone actually handed me a USB with Sub Focus’s new album, the one only sold in the UK, for me to play. I never imagined I’d get to play his new tracks; it was such an amazing experience.
TF: Were there any artists you were excited to see perform, and why? Did you get a chance to interact with them?
KAMIKO: I love Friction, Grafix, and Camo & Krooked because of their unique styles, but honestly, I was looking forward to seeing everyone since it’s so rare to see them in Thailand. I even got to chat with Grafix for a bit when we happened to run into each other. I told him how much I love his music and I got to take photos with many others, like Mozey.
TF: What does hosting a DnB AllStars in Thailand mean for the local dnb scene and upcoming DJs in the area?
KAMIKO: I feel like the arrival of DnB Allstars Thailand is a great sign that DnB is no longer just an underground scene here. It has become a genre that can reach enough people to support a full festival. This means so much to the local Thai DJs who have been pushing this scene. We’ve worked so hard, and this feels like a success. Beyond DnB Allstars, other festivals in Thailand have started including DnB artists on their big stages, which shows the genre is now well-accepted in Thailand.
TF: Any closing thoughts or reflections you would like to share with us about your experience at DnB AllStars?
KAMIKO: I really hope DnB Allstars continues to hold events here for many more years. I want to see DnB festivals in Thailand keep growing. I also want to thank DnB Allstars for thinking of Thailand and making this happen, and thanks to the entire crew for making it such a success.

TF: How did it feel to be among the artists billed at DnB AllStars Thailand’s debut? What was your set like?
Sean Fortune: It is such a dream come true and a huge honor. Drum & Bass Allstars is one of the first places where I started to listen to lots of drum & bass. To be on one of their line ups is absolutely mental. I got to play some of my own productions there on that beautiful stage and amazing sound system! Even though it was an early set and there weren’t that many people it was FUN! My goal was to get the sound guy to put his hands up and HE DID!
TF: What is your favorite memory from the festival, or can you talk about a moment you will never forget?
Sean Fortune: Apart from playing there, my favorite moment was seeing so many of my favorite artists perform, people that I have taken inspiration from and looked up to for years, absolutely surreal. Camo & Krooked is my biggest inspiration in Drum & Bass and to be talking to both of the guys about their music and how much it has brought joy and inspiration to me is something I have been dreaming of for a long time!
TF: Were there any artists you were excited to see perform, and why? Did you get a chance to interact with them?
Sean Fortune: YES! Camo & Krooked is who really got me to fall in love drum & bass and is my biggest inspiration. The way they make music takes you on a different kind of emotional journey while still being able to make you dance.
TF: What does hosting a DnB AllStars in Thailand mean for the local dnb scene and upcoming DJs in the area?
Sean Fortune: When I first saw the announcement, it was a huge rush of excitement. I didn’t think it would be possible that such a staple in Drum & Bass would land in Thailand so quickly. It felt like all our effort to push the genre had paid off; now there are so many more opportunities for upcoming Drum & Bass artists to show off their take on the art. Two years ago, Drum & Bass was a lot smaller in Thailand! That’s why we started KRYPTONITE in the first place. To give the genre and the people pushing it a platform for their art!
TF: Any closing thoughts or reflections you would like to share with us about your experience at DnB AllStars?
Sean Fortune: I am so so excited to see how this scales over the next couple of years, really looking forward to seeing that crowd grow for drum & bass in Thailand! It will be absolutely huge. Not only for festivals but also for local promoters. Thailand is now on the DnB Map, more tourists will be looking for Drum & Bass!
TF: I have to ask about almost missing out, as shared on your Instagram, how relieved were you when it all pulled through?
Sean Fortune: Something straight out of a movie. It was a hasty 3 AM decision to record that video and post it. I was spiraling in the middle of the night, thinking what if I actually missed it and I had to do something about it. I asked everyone I could to help comment on the video tagging DNB Allstars and share the video around. I got lucky because one of my friends knew Joshua, the founder of DNB Allstars. She sent it to him and he was kind enough to put me back on! It’s an absolute honor.

TFword: How did it feel to be among the artists billed at DnB AllStars Thailand’s debut?
LINDZ: I honestly had the best time! I have been travelling around SE Asia with my girlfriend, Indi, for over 2 years now, visiting DnB promoters and artists up and down the country whilst building our events network DnB Thailand along the way. This festival felt like a long time coming. Having built DnB Thailand into a brand had already allowed me to speak to a large part of the lineup over socials. Artists I have listened to and followed since the start of my DnB journey. Now was my chance to finally introduce myself and get to know them. What an awesome lineup to see my name on! I was nervous. I was excited! It’s always nice to meet face to face, have a proper conversation, dance and raise a glass to celebrate the music we love in a country we have also fallen in love with.
TF: What was your set like?
LINDZ: DnB Allstars Thailand was my first international festival set. It’s mad how building this brand has allowed these opportunities to happen and I knew I had to make the most of it. Luckily enough, EJ Kitto, Profile and Trimer played before me and I had my friend George (Major G) on the mic. All that meant that I had one hell of a hyped up crowd when I took over the decks. I knew I had to play hard and keep the energy high. So that’s exactly what I did! Little did I know that MC Lowqui was also watching and after catching a vibe, he hopped on about 15 mins in and MC’d over my set. Big bucket list moment so… Thank you Lowqui!
TF: What is your favorite memory from the festival, or can you talk about a moment you will never forget?
LINDZ: One of my favorite moments was standing up in the VIP section of stage 2 with my girlfriend when Jaysn was closing the stage on Sunday night. We shared a look which felt like we were telling each other how incredible & unforgettable this weekend had been. Never before had we shared a space with so many awesome promoters, DJs and artists from within Thailand and overseas. If anyone has seen a Jaysn set, then you know how his tune selection melts the energy of the rave into a place where things feel like they belong. Whatever track he was playing at that time allowed us to slip into that place. What we, and everyone around us, had achieved was all worth it. If we all keep putting the effort in and collaborating, then our futures are very, very bright.
TF: Were there any artists you were excited to see perform, and why? Did you get a chance to interact with them?
LINDZ: We are big Badger fans and his set certainly didn’t miss (the first time we had seen him live). Playing a bit of garage and switching the normal vibe of a DnB set injected some fresh energy into the crowd on the Saturday. Outside of that, Millz & Nicky Blackmarket, Camo & Krooked, Jaysn, Kamiko, Elipsa, Sean Fortune, Brad & Orawan, Trimer and everyone else we saw over the weekend all smashed it! Too many good sets to write about.
TF: What does hosting a DnB AllStars in Thailand mean for the local dnb scene and upcoming DJs in the area?
LINDZ: The scene has been growing in Thailand for over 2 decades. It’s been a slow burn, with a small number of dedicated fans helping shape underground culture. It’s these same promoters who have helped give opportunities to new and international talent and brought DnB to fresh ears. DnB Allstars Thailand was a way for a lot of us to demonstrate the hard work we have put in to giving drum and bass a reputation here. Old relationships were given a space to be nurtured, new relationships were given a space to form and flourish. I’d like to think it’s brought us all closer, sparked a fresh wave of motivation and allowed collaborations to happen!
TF: Any closing thoughts or reflections you would like to share with us about your experience at DnB AllStars?
LINDZ: Being the first time all the local promoters, DJs and international artists were in one place was a really special feeling. All of us now had undeniable proof that the scene here is starting to go parabolic. It’s no longer a case of people hearing about Drum and Bass in Thailand once they arrive; people now understand that Thailand has a rich grassroots scene, it’s here to stay and it’s here to grow. Thailand is a special country to rave in with its unique venues and blend of cultures. To now have interested eyes watching from everywhere overseas only makes Thailand’s DnB future even brighter.
