Taiga to Take Over Pointers for an O’Week Special

Known for its supreme clubbing experience, Auckland’s top-tier venue Pointers brings you an O’Week Special event featuring one of the city’s favorite DJ/producers, Taiga! Fresh off the Soundsplash music festival, the promising up-and-comer of the drum & bass scene will be joined by Vive B2B Joshee, Molly, and more for the ultimate DnB blowout on February 28. Tickets to Pointers Presents: Taiga (O’week Special) are available on Ticket Fairy.

20-year-old producer/DJ Taiga quickly became the one to look out for in the NZ drum & bass scene. He has taken the stage at the multi-genre festival Soundsplash twice, was announced as a resident for the George FM Autumn Residency, and also made his Hide club headlining debut last year.

Drum & bass DJ/producer Vive will go B2B with Joshee to support Taiga for the night. Auckland and Hawke’s Bay DnB DJ TØN is gearing up for his Pointers debut on February 28. 

Chooch, who has been on support duties for jump up DJ/producer Yen and Australia/NZ-based DnB pair Flowidus in 2025, is also on the bill for this forthcoming event headlined by Taiga. “Super stoked to be returning to pointers on the 28th of Feb on support for @djtaigaa alongside a fat local lineup!! I’ve got a whole bunch of new blends to test out, see you there. Tickets will sell fast!” he wrote on Instagram. 

Auckland’s Molly returns to Pointers next weekend after having been the supporting act for Bristol-based Crossy last month, while DJ duo Tandem complete the artist card for this unmissable gig.
