Drum and Bass India Returns With Massive Weekender 2026

Alerting all DnB heads to a double anniversary celebration this weekend as Drum and Bass India marks 13 years of operations and its ally in bass, Bangalore Massive, marks a fourth year around the sun. Massive Weekender 2026 is ready to flood Bengaluru’s Indiranagar Social and Koramangala Social with a tidal wave of electronic grooves, spanning from breakbeat, UKG, bassline, jungle, neurofunk, and jump-up styles. Over 30 DnB tacticians will steer this three-day bass-fueled revelry. Taking place from March 6 to 9, 2026, tickets to Massive Weekender 2026 in Bangalore are up for grabs now through Ticket Fairy.

Spotlighting the artist card, fairly newly minted in the DnB realm and a former entrant in DnB India’s DJ contest, Absynth appears to be pushing all the right buttons as he lands on yet another Bangalore Massive line-up.

A Bengaluru debut is in play as Vancouver-based junglist Sepoys hauls his liquid drum & bass and jungle flavors into the fold. Turntablist DJ Dwell and producer XS will each spin a vinyl session across the weekend.

Bass fanatic Adi G, beat maker Ankan, riddim specialist ARKEPHALOS, Swadesi collective’s BamBoy, DnB authority figure Fragment, Buffalo-based electronic artist Scotticus Finch, marathon set architect Echoborg, and left-field ritualist Benkii feature.

Tapan Raj, one half of the pioneering duo Midival Punditz, known for fusing Indian sounds with global electronic influences, joins the roster. DnB India co-founder The Untitled One also steps in, alongside the three winners of the ongoing DJ contest, each earning a slot to perform.

Rattling out the rest of the card, acts primed for the pandemonium include Hellkitty, Rasa, Easymanie, HUNNIT D, Campbell, Tonkatsukitty, SHAYZEN, Fractal, HEDZ, Unnayanaa, King Sinister, Mo’homo, Noothan JX, Nu.Sense, TAKEZO, and UJAY.

Day one kicks off Friday, March 6, from 7 PM onwards at Indiranagar Social, twinned with an indoor party. The next day, proceedings commence from 2 PM at Indiranagar Social with a vinyl workshop, meet and greet, sundowner, and celebratory bash. Day three wraps up on March 8 at Koramangala Social.

In anticipation of the weekender shows, here’s what Nu.Sense, Rasa, Adi G and Fragment have to say about their forthcoming performances!

NU.SENSE: “I’m the only girl playing on Friday and I’m going to make sure you hear it, yeah! Bringing chatty, low end pressure with lots of percs with me. Not too hectic but definitely a bit rude. I’ve been looking forward to play in Bangalore since the first time I ever plugged in my USB stick. Sharing the bill with so many amazing artists makes me really look back on my journey.”

ADI G: “Massive Weekender always has a special energy and I am excited to tap into that. We will be moving through different shades of bass music but keeping the funk at the centre of it all. It is going to be playful, dynamic and all about the dancefloor connection.”

RASA: “Celebrating Massive Weekender and Women’s Day in one breath, so the set will be big and spotlighting women. The don Benkii and I are going B2B and closing the festival, and we’ve got many surprises for the people. I can picture stank faces on the floor.”

FRAGMENT: “Bangalore Massive always has a community that trusts the DJ, embracing every sound and style presented to them. It’s such a solid and positive community that you simply get absorbed in its warmth. That warmth has me deep in reflection mode, and I am going all personal with an all classics drum & bass set ranging from the earliest days of neurofunk to the peak 2010s era.”
