The Belgian techno star announced ‘The Resistance’ alongside a teaser with leather-clad people with words like “One,” “Techno” and “Us” on their eyelids and eyeballs. The techno legend took to her social media to announce this exciting adventure last month, saying, “I’m very proud to announce the launch of my new audiovisual show “The Resistance”. After our Overdrive Production Show, this is what we will be bringing to some select festivals and venues this summer. We’ll be bringing you something truly fresh and unseen. Some of you may have already had a sneak peek at Flanders Expo in February.”

UNVRS Ibiza saw the debut of ‘The Resistance’ last week, with Paris’ We Love Green becoming the second stop for de Witte’s audiovisual production. “This is The Resistance. The kick off of my new audiovisual show took place yesterday at a packed UNVRS in Ibiza. Many very talented people have been working hard towards this moment. I look forward to taking it on the road with me this summer. Next stop, Paris,” she wrote on Instagram.

Amongst her many feats, Charlotte added another milestone to her list of achievements this year. She became the first-ever techno artist and woman to close the EDC Main Stage in Las Vegas. The Ghent-born DJ/producer will be taking ‘The Resistance’ to Sónar Barcelona later this month before presenting it to ravers in Belgium’s Werchter, Liège and Bilbao in Spain in July. The V and B Festival and the Pagaille Festival in France have been confirmed as the last two stops where Charlotte will deliver her new audiovisual concept so far.
