Making Time Festival Returns to Philadelphia With Bicep, Marcel Dettmann and More

More than 120 electronic music acts will be taking the Making Time festival 2026 stage in September.

Making Time returns to Pennsylvania’s Fort Mifflin for the 2026 edition of the festival. London-based DJ duo Bicep has been confirmed to play their only show in the Americas at this Philadelphia-based festival, alongside artists like Detroit-based DJ/producer Theo Parrish, Canadian electronic producer Daphni, Skee Mask hailing from Munich, Norwegian electronic music duo Smerz – made up of Catharina Stoltenberg and Henriette Motzfeldt, and longtime Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann on the bill. 

The line-up for the festival also features Timedance label head Batu, Spanish DJ/producer John Talabot, Erol Alkan, Australian electro-pop singer and multi-instrumentalist Carla dal Forno, British techno DJ/producer Daniel Avery (live), with China-born and London-based DJ/producer Yu Su going B2B with Beijing-born Moopie.

“This year’s Making Time lineup sets its sights on the future whilst also harkening back to the origins of Making Time,” said the festival’s founder, producer Dave P, as per Billboard. “When I started Making Time in the year 2000, the party was based around booking live performances from bands like The Strokes, Interpol, Bloc Party and LCD Soundsystem alongside DJs. This year I’ve booked more live performances than ever before.”

The year 2000 saw David Flanka create the party series Making Time, a space for both electronic music favorites and big names in EDM, as well as emerging artists and talented producers to be discovered. The event turned into a festival in 2021.
