Electronic Music Takes the Wheel In Forza Horizon 6

Developed by Playground Games and published by Xbox Game Studios, the latest entry into the Horizon series is fueled by an infectious soundtrack soaked in electronic music.

Forza Horizon 6 docks over 200 tracks, forming the largest music catalog in the car racing game franchise, spread across its nine in-game radio stations. It also seals a dedicated drum & bass radio station helmed by London’s Hospital Records, which has remained a staple of every edition of the game.

Players can tune in to a revolving door of J-pop melodies on Gacha City Radio, along with neo-classical sounds brewed by Horizon Opus RJ Takehiro Sato, an in-game character who is a classically trained pianist and DJ.

Horizon Bass Arena radio station boasts a ledger crammed with works from FISHER (‘Stay’), Gryffin (‘Spin Me Slowly’ feat. Julia Church), Ninajirachi (‘Infohazard’), Subtronics (‘Friends’ feat. Linney), Urbandawn (‘Yuki Touge’), Calvin Harris feat. Clementine Douglas (‘Blessings’ Odd Mob Remix), and heaps more.

Hospital Records steamrolls through with bangers crafted by the likes of Fred V, Metrik, Hugh Hardie, Logistics, Nu: Logic, TANTRON, S.P.Y and Formula to name a few.

Sri Lankan-born drum & bass maestro Sasith Gamage, best known as IYRE, also speeds through on this channel with a sublime liquid DnB-seasoned cut called ‘Skyline Fever.’ Japanese DnB virtuoso Makoto rides along on this collaborative outing, which serves as an ode to the classic NISSAN G-TR Skyline sports car and Tokyo’s scenic cityscape.

“If you’re cruising around Japan, don’t forget to switch on to the Hospital Records Radio; there’s some total bangers,” stated IYRE on social media following the inclusion of Skyline Fever in the track list.

Released in May 2026, Forza Horizon 6 places players in Japan who must gradually earn their stripes amongst the racing elite in various cities across the country.
