DJ Fisher to Voice A Character in “Toy Story 5”

The Australian tech house star will be voicing a character named ‘Garden Gnome’ in the film for viewers in Australia and New Zealand.

The fifth installment of the iconic Toy Story film series hits the big screen on June 19, 2026. Ahead of the movie’s release, Fisher has announced that he has been cast in the film to play Garden Gnome, who is among the forgotten toys that live in an abandoned backyard shed.

“THIS IS ACTUALLY WILD !!!! IM THE “GARDEN GNOME” IN TOY STORY 5 ??? I HONESTLY JUST CANT WAIT TO WATCH THIS WITH CHLOE, BOBBI AND ANDI??? THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HAVING ME @disneyaunz OUT JUNE 18th,” he shared his excitement on Instagram about looking forward to seeing the animated film with his wife and daughters.

“Toy Story 5” sees Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie reunite to face off with modern technology. Greta Lee voices the character of Lilypad – a smart tablet presenting a prevalent issue of increasing screen time and addiction to electronic devices in our day-to-day lives. The film follows the gang as they go head-to-head with Lilypad, exploring both the pros and cons of modern technology. Directed by Andrew Stanton, the film stars Tom Hanks, Joan Cusack, Tim Allen, Keanu Reeves, Annie Potts, Wallace Shawn, and more. Taylor Swift has recorded an original song, ‘I Knew It, I Knew You,’ co-written and co-produced with frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff.

Fisher has already had a major year with performances at high-profile venues and clubs and has graced massive festival stages like EDC Thailand and EDC Las Vegas. He is currently taking over UNVRS Ibiza every Thursday from June 4 to September 10 and has a number of concerts lined up, including Beyond Wonderland, Escapade Music Festival, Veld Music Festival, Slottsfjell Festival, and Breakaway Music Festival.
