Kumi, Chris Keene and Mikeyy Announce New Zealand Tour 2026

A massive joint tour is about to hit New Zealand! Three of the finest talents from Oceania – Kumi, Chris Keene and Mikeyy – are joining hands for a tour, performing separately and together across Aotearoa this June. They will be stopping by in Queenstown, Auckland and Christchurch on June 19, June 26 and June 27, respectively, with support from Lenni Vibe, Bushky, ANTZ and more. Fresh off his Australian club tour, Melbourne’s Kumi will be firing out his dynamic sets incorporating hair-raising drum & bass, UK Garage, trance and hard house across Aotearoa. He will be joined by New Zealand’s very own Chris Keene, who has opened for the likes of Marshmello, Denzel Curry, and Skream and graced the Rhythm & Vines Festival stage. Iraqi-New Zealand DJ/producer and vocalist Mikeyy, best known for his distinctive sound that blends Middle Eastern influences with UKG grooves, electronic beats and hip-hop, rounds out the headliner card.

This tour kicks off with a special free event at Barmuda in Queenstown on June 19. London-born house and techno music tastemaker Lenni Vibe will also be getting behind the decks with Queenstown’s Dannika Peach, completing the line-up for this gig. The following day, the headliners will be on their way to their Wellington show.

June 26 will see Kumi, Chris Keene, and Mikeyy take charge of Whammy Bar in Auckland with UKG, breaks and bass DJ/producer bushky and Tamaki Makaurau DJ/producer Milan, who has performed at New Zealand’s premier music festivals Hidden Valley, Rhythm & Vines and Northern Bass, will be on support duties. “These three have all been close friends of Basic Manners for a long time, and with all their birthdays landing in the same week, it only felt right to throw a party and celebrate properly,” Basic Manners shared on Instagram.

Christchurch is the final stop of this tour, with Kumi, Chris Keene and Mikeyy wowing audiences with their high-energy set at Sydenham Underpass on June 27. The artist card for this show features Christchurch-based ANTZ and Philippines-born genre-bending DJ/producer and 1/3 of the Norty Club Collective, Jousey.
