Untold Festival 2026 to Offer Free HPV Tests and Breast Ultrasounds to Attendees

This comes in partnership with Renasterea Foundation, a nonprofit organization focusing on women’s health and cancer prevention.

UNTOLD Festival returns to Cluj-Napoca next month for its eleventh edition. This year, in addition to hosting pulsating sets at one of Europe’s largest electronic music festivals, the festival will also offer free HPV tests and breast ultrasounds to attendees. The screenings, tests, and consultations will be available to those with an entry wristband and will take place in a mobile caravan near the festival grounds.

“A large part of the festival audience is female, and this makes us responsible to use the UNTOLD platform not only for entertainment, but also for initiatives that can have a real impact on people’s lives. Together with the Renasterea Foundation, we want to bring access to prevention closer to the female audience, through free HPV testing and free mammograms, in a space where they feel connected, safe and part of a community,” Ioana Chereji, the Head of Communications at UNTOLD Festival, said as per EDM.com. “We believe that the magic of UNTOLD also means care, awareness, concrete steps for a state of well-being and most importantly, health.”

The Renasterea Foundation completes 25 years in 2026. Since its inception in 2001, their mobile clinics have carried out 40,000 free assessments as well as Pap smears and mammograms across the southeastern European country, Romania. This move is a first for a music festival in Europe to combine a festival experience with screenings for cancer prevention and women’s health.

“It is the first time that cancer prevention reaches the heart of a music festival, and for the Renasterea Foundation it is a truly historic moment. Health must be accessible wherever people live experiences that bring them together, and a festival is the place where we can reach the young audience,” stated Mihaela Geoana, President of the Renasterea Foundation.

Last year, Romania’s Untold Festival welcomed 470,000 revelers. The 2026 edition of the festival has been scheduled for August 6 – 9, 2026, with thrilling performances from EDM superstar Martin Garrix, Swedish pop icon Zara Larsson, chart-topping producer Marshmello, Norwegian tropical house pioneer Kygo, California’s rapper and singer Swae Lee, Belgian DJ/producer Lost Frequencies, The Police frontman Sting, two-time Grammy-nominated producer/DJ Steve Aoki, Sara Landry, MËSTIZA, Solomun, Mau P, Carl Cox, Meduza, James Hype, Shimza, Andy C, Pendulum, and many more.
